➢ Statement: Why are you seeking this particular MASSP Office?

I am firm believer in being an active member of organizations that can help professionals improve. MASSP was an integral organization to me as a new teacher, student council advisor, and now as new administrator.

The following candidates are running uncontested for regional representatives in the 2008 election:

Statement:

I am asking for your vote to represent you on the MASSP High School Commission. As one of the "old goats" (1976 to present) who has a broad variety of administrative experience in both inner-city urban, small-town rural, and now a suburban high school I have acquired an appreciation for the strengths and issues accompanying each kind of district.

Why am I seeking the President-Elect office of MASSP?

After serving for four years on the Board of Directors, I have had the great privilege and opportunity to work very closely with tremendous leaders, visionaries, and role models for our profession. For the benefit of our students I hope to continue to learn from both current and past principals to improve the standings and conditions for all secondary principals.
