Don't Miss MASSP's Career Technology Education Showcase

Please visit the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals' Career Technology Education Showcase on Wednesday, April 23. The purpose of this event is to provide legislators and the public an opportunity to see first-hand the type of rigorous academic content CTE programs deliver and to promote the addition of a national workforce credential as an outcome of the Michigan Merit Exam.

Displays will be open from 8:30am - 3:00pm in the North and West Halls of the First Floor of the Capitol. Students and educators will be on hand to discuss their displays and CTE programs. A brief press conference will be held at 9:30am.

The following CTE programs will be featured:

Manufacturing Technology Academy, Traverse Bay Area ISD Career Tech Center
Biochemical Technology, Lenawee ISD VO-TECH Center
Health Technology, Chippewa Valley/ Dakota High School
Agri-Science, Bay-Arenac ISD Career Center
Culinary Arts, Branch Area Careers Center
Building Construction, Lincoln Park High School
Health Careers Academy, Berrien County PA56 Consortium - Niles & Benton
Harbor High Schools
Machine Trades, St. Clair Technical Education Center
Web Design, Oakland Schools Technical Campus
Engineering Technologies, Oakland Schools Technical Campus - Northwest
Cadet Teacher Program, Van Buren Technology Center
Automotive Technology, Van Buren Technology Center
Army ROTC, Jackson Area Career Center
