I feel my experience as an educator at various levels, middle school, high school, and higher education provide me with a depth of experience to be able to represent the interests of my fellow administrators on issues that confront all of us..

I am well versed and knowledgeable on issues of curriculum, assessment, and instruction in addition, my strong background in statistics coupled with my inherent interest to use data can provide the MASSP a person who can analyze issues from a data perspective. I am organized, follow-through and have the capacity to get things done.

I realize there are a number of outstanding individuals capable of representing the MASSP in a wonderful manner, however, my 39 years of experiences a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent uniquely qualifies me to have a perspective that will consider the global picture. At the same time, I have had the practical experience to understand the issues confronting people in the "trenches."

*Taught Mathematics at both middle and high school levels for 13 years
*Served as head wrestling coach at Purdue University for eight years
*Served as administrator in charge of student services and NCAA compliance at Purdue University for four years
* Served as middle school principal for two years
* I have been high school principal in three different high schools ranging in enrollments from 2700 students to 1500, thirteen years total.
